Make sure you don't delete the folder itself, as the lack of a folder named Profiles causes it not to start up at all. Any settings you customize in the active profile are only valid for the VIRTUAL controller. For people who don't have it stored in appdata, I had to delete the contents of the profile folder in the install directory for DS4windows.Because DS4Windows doesn't alter how your REAL controller presents itself on the system, you might encounter issues because some games may think 2 controllers are being used at the same time: the REAL and the VIRTUAL one.You can switch to DS4 emulation but then things get more complicated. The type of virtual controller depends on the profile being used and its settings. In the Gamecube Controllers config area, you can configure or disable the emulated. The main controller configuration window will appear, as seen in the screenshot below. By Default, DS4Windows emulates a Xbox 360 controller because it is far more compatible with games, which is why they are detecting your controller as such To open and manage the controller settings for Dolphin, from the Dolphins main window, navigate to Options -> Controller Settings, or simply click the 'Controllers' button. The Virtual Controller can either be an emulated Xbox 360 or DS4 controller.Simply select the one you want and delete it. In the Search for a command box type the keyboard key you wish to bind to your mouse. Click the Keys tab which is right of the Commands tab. Click on the Assignments button, this is a square icon with a plus sign in the middle of it. your DS4 should now be listed in the field below. You can delete them via the controller assignment menus directly in game. Open GHUB and double-click on the mouse you will be making a profile to use with your Zen. press the plus button, select SDL as your API. ![]() if a controller is still listed, press the minus button next to the field and remove it.
